COVID-19は【仰臥位】覚醒をもたらす


コロナウイルス疾患2019(COVID-19)のパンデミックにより、呼吸器サポートを必要とする患者が多数発生し、集中治療室(ICU)の過負荷が懸念されている。
一般病棟での非侵襲的換気(NIV)の使用は、一部の患者にとっては代替手段となる可能性があるが、めったに記載されておらず、世界的にも使用されていない
 ある研究では、仰臥位でのNIVの実現可能性が記載されている
仰臥位は肺背側領域を回復させ、気道分泌物を排出することができ、急性呼吸窮迫症候群(ARDS)でのガス交換と生存率を改善することができる

However, the patients with COVID-19 pneumonia, despite meeting the Berlin definition of ARDS, present an atypical form of the syndrome.
